Youth Opportunity Program
The Baltimore City Youth
Opportunity Movement, also known as YO! Baltimore, comprehensively serves
Empowerment Zone youth 14 to 21 years of age (both in and
out-of-school). The goal of the program is to increase employment and high
school completion rates, as well as improve the
long-term economic well-being of youth.
IMA
is one of
forty partners working collaboratively to support youth
development. Accompanying the academic components of the
program are recreational, sports and cultural activities. This
combination assures that the participants will be well rounded
due tom their exposure to a myriad of activities.
IMA is responsible for the
recreational and cultural enrichment activities
including sports camps, tournaments, intensive sports
workshops, field trips and performing arts.
