Metropolitan
Golf Links
in Oakland.
The format
is a
four-player
scramble,
and most
foursomes
will include
a track and
field
celebrity.
The event is
named for
the late
hurdling
star, who
competed at
four
Olympics,
won a gold
medal in
1968 and was
among the
first
big-name
athletes to
lend his
support to
the Union
City track
clinic.
Registration
is $150.

Need and
local track
and field
