Students at the University of Bamako and students at Bronx Community College, Bronx, New York are engaging in an email exchange program. Conceived and developed by IMA, the program is designed to establish cultural awareness and sensitivity, and brotherhood between the students.

Many of the students at Bronx Community College have direct Caribbean ancestry, thus adding another cultural dimension to the program.

There are twenty-five students each from Mali � program coordinator Sounkalo Dembele � and from Bronx Community College.
