Jenny Thompson retired from swimming
this week in Indianapolis after seventeen years of
international competition that included four
Olympics, 12 Olympic medals, eight Olympic gold
medals, nine World Championship gold medals, and 26
National titles. At 31, Thompson has become an icon
for swimming and one of the most decorated Olympians
in history.
Thompson has moved on from swimming to focus on her
medical career and third year of medical school at
Colombia University. We invite anyone with fond
